KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES

Audit Program Implementation

• Perform Internal and External Audits in accordance with the approved audit plan or as directed by QA Management to ensure that procedures of the audited organization are complied with and work standards are to an acceptable standard;
• Participate in the development of the annual Audit Calendar;
• Performs audits of relevant resources (e.g. manpower/qualification/training, tools, equipment, facilities, materials, manuals, etc.) to ensure adherence to quality standards established by the applicable manuals, IOSA, and Aviation Authority requirements.
• Evaluates capability of organizations providing aircraft parts and services to FLYNAS (e.g. AMOs, line station handling companies, training centers, ground handlers, engine and components shops, etc.).
• Evaluates corrective/preventive actions to the audit findings.
• Implement the company’s vendor approval system through the conduct of mail and/or facility audit to ensure that contracted service providers and suppliers meet applicable aviation regulations and standards.
• Assist/liaise during customer and regulatory investigations including the distribution of investigation reports; and collection, evaluation and submission of the corresponding corrective action to the concerned organization.
• Conduct in-depth investigation after occurrence of accidents, incidents, deviations and other operations or maintenance related events.
• Randomly review completed A-Check and C-Check packages during CAMO and contracted AMO audits.
• Following up on timely closure of Non-Compliance reports.

Regulatory compliance and continuous improvement

• Prepares all applications required by applicable aviation regulatory as requested by the Director QA of his designee.
• Participate in providing awareness amongst FLYNAS personnel regarding quality related issues, through the issuance of Quality Bulletins, as necessary.
• Assist during the renewal of company certificates/approvals; and aircraft certificates.
• Assist in building-up capabilities, coordinate regulatory approval, and monitor approved capability for compliance to requirements.
• Verifying that effective remedial action takes place within set timescales, in respect of any discrepancies. Any failure to do so is brought to the attention of the QA Management;
• Evaluates corrective/preventive actions to the audit findings.

• Train new QA Auditors on company and QA Department policies and procedures.
• Coordinates requirements and assists Lessor Technical Auditors, Aviation Authority Auditors/Inspectors and other industry auditors during audits and/or inspections of FLYNAS aircraft, processes and procedures.

Administrative

• Assist/liaise during customer and regulatory audits including the distribution of audit reports; and collection, evaluation and submission of the corresponding corrective action to concerned organization.
• Assists in the preparation and processing of applications / renewal of aircraft certificates and company approvals.
• Reporting the results of auditing and bringing any discrepancies to the attention of the person concerned and the QA Management;
• Assist during aircraft acceptance and/or re-delivery.
• Maintaining internal and external audit files.
• Perform any other assignment from the QA Management.
