Knowledge of aerospace special processes with specific reference to metallic materials.Proficiency in technical writing and documentation in English language.
Experience in failure analysis of engineering components.
Knowledge in simulation and modelling of processes, including working knowledge on commonly available software such as deform, procast etc. would be an added advantage
Proficiency in interpretation of materials and process specifications and Industry standards is a must.
Working Knowledge of common metallurgical characterization equipment (optical microscopy, hardness testing, sample preparation techniques etc.).
Should have working knowledge of Materials of Concern and regulations governing the use of materials of concern (REACh, ROHS etc.).
Awareness of Aerospace Quality Standards and Systems.General working knowledge in microscoft office tools.
Bachelors Degree in Metallurgical/Materials Engineering with 3-5 years of experience preferable in an aerospace industry. Master degree Materials Engg/Manufaturing Engg. is desirable.
