Technical Operations supply chain deliveries career opportunities where planning, operations and finance intersect. Working together, our group strives to operate a fully integrated supply chain that is dependable, efficient, and resourceful in support of the Company’s aircraft maintenance goals. Asset verification is a process of validating the accounting for inventory ownership. Discrepancies are identified, corrected and reported. Position works with internal and external auditors as required to satisfy SOX requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Post-physical inventory responsibilities include: Reconcile all data, resolve issues with transactional discipline and historical reports, manage the approval process, communicate to the appropriate customers, and book all transactions for visibility. Utilize new and legacy company systems to complete tasks.

Pre-physical inventory responsibilities include: Select part control number (PCN) based on WHQAY list (mandated), production and inventory planning requests. Compile the initial pre-physical inventory paper package documents to supports. Utilize new and legacy company systems to complete tasks.

Work and file weekly reports including lost-found, negative credit balance, loan and borrow reconciliation, corrective receiving, and customer requests.

Review existing reports, dashboards, and performance indicators to modify, enhance and develop new reports and metrics.

Recommend and drive process improvements and best practices leveraging new tools and technology

Support the development and deployment of new technologies to further our goal of automated business processes.

This position is offered on local terms and conditions within United’s wholly owned subsidiary United Airlines Business Services Pvt. Ltd. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.



Strong communication, negotiating, analytical and technical skills with an in-depth knowledge of spreadsheet functions, data mining tools and techniques, and financial concepts

Comfort with and a curiosity for working with very large data sets• Learn from subject matter experts, identify gaps in data and generate quantitative solutions to problems. Understanding of relational database structures.

Skills/ Abilities:

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; able to summarize and visualize data (i.e., Spotfire, Tableau); high competency in SQL system required.

Qualifications/ Certifications:

Must be fluent in English (written and spoken); must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship.

Education and/or Background:

Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field like math, statistics, operations research, computer science, engineering, or related field required.


One year analytical work experience.


Understanding of airline operations, supply chain and inventory planning.

Proficient in SCEPTRE.

One to three years of experience in fields of supply chain, airline or manufacturing industry; three years auditing experience.
