(I) Job Description

  1. Ensure that the airplane configuration will meet the Delivery Conditions stipulated in the Lease Agreement; at the end of the Maintenance Check and its Conversion from Passenger to Freighter (P2F) configuration.
  2. Monitor day-to-day operational activities to ensure that the Conversion and Maintenance Check milestones/deadlines are met and propose mitigating actions in case there are schedule changes:
    1. To coordinate with the relevant Conversion stakeholder to ensure issues are addressed in a timely manner;
    2. Participate in the weekly meetings related to the P2F Conversion Program and the Maintenance Check Production Status of the airplane undergoing conversion;
    3. Review all tasks executed and manhours clocked for Conversion and Maintenance Check events, and to ensure that the charges are reasonable.
  3. Review the Material Reports to ensure that:
    1. Components that are repairable are sent out for repairs instead of buying replacement units.
    2. The correct/required workscope is specified in the Repair Order of components being sent out to the shop (e.g. repair instead of overhaul).
    3. The price of replacement parts is the most cost effective option such that serviceable units (if available and meets the mod site’s need date) are procured instead of overhauled or brand new units.
    4. Material/consumable consumption is not excessive.
    5. All component and material delivery dates will meet the mod-site need date.
  4. Review the Airworthiness Certificates of replacement parts procured by mod-site to ensure they are acceptable per the Lease Agreement and the CAMO including vetting of the completed paperwork and coordinate the necessary correction to ensure compliance to FAA/EASA regulations.
  5. Coordinate with the aircraft or components OEMs for the SB, mod kit, SFEs and BFEs required for the systems upgrade of the aircraft for P2F conversion; are ordered and will meet the mod-site need date.
  6. Review billing/invoices from Aircraft and Component OEMs, Repair Shops, mod-site, Freight Forwarders and other vendors related to the aircraft conversion and Maintenance Check; and to clear the invoices for payment. Need to ensure the costs during conversion and Maintenance Check meets the budgetary and planned expenses.
  7. Provide weekly reports to Company to keep management and the team abreast with the developments of the Conversion and Maintenance Check, highlighting significant issues and possible schedule changes, and to propose mitigating actions and proposals for Company to decide the next course of action.
  8. Perform other suitable and relevant duties that Company may assign from time-to-time.


(II) Requirements:

a. Minimum with Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Aerospace Engineering;

b. Have at least 8 years of working experiences in the Aviation Industry mainly in Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) specialization. Preference to be given to candidate with Airframe Base/Line Maintenance qualifications, having Hangar Operation experiences;

c. Qualified Licensed Aircraft Engineer is most preferred;

d. Poccess execellent interpersonal, communication and writting skills 

e. Has good program management ability with all program partners and sub-contractors
